Hey guys,
I was plowing snow last night, backed up by my shed to take the rear blade off after I was done. I must have bumped something that possibly triggered a safety switch. ( I'm Guessing) because it quit like I turned the key off.
When I attempted to re- start it wouldn't engage starter. No click...nothing! My thoughts are leaning toward some kind of a safety feature. Tractor has 30 hrs.
Any Ideas?

Did you bump something? Please be more explicit in what happened when it quit. (Had you already parked? Lowered the blade? Set the brake? Shifted to neutral? etc.)

I don't know your tractor so don't know the most likely culprits. However, it surprises me that the engine quit... diesels just don't do that. As for not starting, until one of the gurus chimes up, I'd be looking at the seat switch or the clutch switch, the only two 'safety' switches I can think of.

I had something similar happen to me 2 nights ago on my B3200.

Make sure both of your PTO's are in the off position. The trick for me was that apparently my big winter boots bumped the FEL lock device, located behind the reverse pedal.

If I was you, go out to the tractor, jiggle that small lever around and make sure it is up and in the unlocked position, check your PTO's and give it a try. That was the trick for me!

PTO levers, and /or, Combination of seat and slightly engaged HST pedal (if it's HST) can do it too.
