Hello; I have starting problem with my 2010 / B3200, most of the time I need to move the forward / reverse pedal to find the neutral start position, how does this work are there solenoids on the pedal or is there an electrical neutral start switch that may be out of position.

How do I jump start the tractor when it won't start at all, can I jumper the starter to the battery.

I have checked and double checked the PTO levers and they all in the correct starting postion when I have this problem.

There is a switch on the hydro pedal that must be out of position. If you look under the floor and move the hydro pedal you will see it contact the switch. It can be moved forward or back some.

There's a neutral switch on the speed control mechanism. Usually it is not out of adjustment, but the lubrication of the rocker lever is overlooked since it is approached from underneath. There's a tube that is the pivot for the action pedal that gets sticky, not allowing the pedal to return to neutral. Shoot some lighter grease into the zerk and work the pedal a bit to get it free. This will help somewhat but the way the neutral-finding works the spring is at its' weakest the closer it gets to neutral so it still may remain fussy. So a touch with the toe to bump it into the sweet spot will still be needed time to time.

Unless a spring has broken or jumped off the lever; this will take care of most of the problem.
