Good evening,
I also have a B3200 that just this past snow fall developed an intermittent high pitched whine. It also happens either in M or H range higher rpm with the pedal all the way down. Only when I am traveling under no load. As soon as I let off it stops and sometimes does not return for a while. Scared the heck out of me. I only just turned over 100 hours and the tractor has been wonderful.
Can you tell me if this thread about the plastic bushing worked for you 3200 noise?
Great forum!
Dave
Hi, I just bought a B3200 this Sept. I love the tractor, and got 55 hours so far on it, with mowing ( rear finish mower ) , dragging logs, carrying dirt fel works great, and moving snow with fel, as for noise that pitch from the hst to me is just something that sounds different at times. Far as I am concern, I check my fluid levels and just enjoying the machine. to be honest, the vibration issue talked about on here had me more concern. Above 2400rpm, it does vibrate at different times and use, in the floor board and steering wheel. But with this model the one with the mid front pto, I am keeping it. Next size tractor with front pto way out of my price range. And to be honest, its rare it will be runned that high on the pto. I do like the b3200 so keeping it.
