I have a B3000 and was driving along and then it just died and won't restart. We think it's a safety switch issue - we found 2 under the seat and one for the HST and we found one PTO switch near the transmission. I have read there are 2 PTO switches. we have bypassed all the switches but there is one PTO switch that we did not find and would like to know where that one is. I realize they are there for a reason, but unless we can find them all we can locate and see which is the problem. Anyone?

It would help if you provided more details such as do you have a Cab, when you say does not start does the engine crank over?

Have you checked fuses?

Sorry, yes, we have a cab, the engine was running, then it died, went to restart it and nothing. Battery and gloplug lights go on but does not crank. Checked all fuses, they are all good, replaced battery (needed to be done anyway) - so that's also good. Sorry, new to this so never know what info is helpful to try to get this resolved. Any help, advice is appreciated.

There is a safety switch on the PTO shift lever in the cab. if the level isn't firmly in the off position, then the engine will die and it will not start (engine won't even turn over).

Pull the lever firmly back into the full dis-engage position and try to start it.
