I have a 2010 B2920 with FEL 364 and BH65. The hydraulic connectors have been replaced twice because of really bad leaking. They are now leaking again. Thinking about trying flat face hydraulic connectors to see if they are any better. I do wipe connections before assembly but the connectors seem to fail fairly quickly. I install and remove the FEL about once a month and the BH once a year or so. Kubota dealer just says yeah they fail and will sell me new replacement for what I already have. this does not seem to be the answer I am looking for. Any one know which company makes a better coupler. Thanks in advance.:)

I use flat face couplers and haven't had one fail me yet.
But then again I haven't had many of the AG couplers go "bad" either.

What size coupler does it take to replace these with? Are the pipes regular NPT?

I plan on going to the Kubota dealer and purchasing again the connectors (1 of each type) to use as size measure. I know they are NPT and the hose has printed on it 3/8 . 3000 PSI so I think it would be 3/8 inch flat faced connector. I will make sure by purchase and measure. Any idea which brand is better. ????

What about just changing the O-ring in the female couplers? Use a good quality O-ring and all should be good. The OEM stuff is probably at the lower end of the scale. The shipping will cost you more than what the O-rings cost. I'm sure that your total cost would be under $10 for all of your fittings.

Do you know the part numbers or the size of these O-rings?
My B2620 has the same problem.
Thanks

I don't know the size offhand, the typical kit doesn't have it but tractor supply sells them in bags of 10.

Hi went to Kubota dealer and purchased coupler set (male and female) 29.95 per set. Measured them and they a 1/4 inch 18 NPT I also found 1/4 NPT Flat Face couplers 60.00 per set on EBay. I purchased 3/8 TO 1/4 inch adapters from McMaster-Carr online, for 3.75 each, and then purchased 3/8 Flat Face couplers per set 16.00, I have not received anything yet, but will let you know if they work.

First off the 3/8 flat face hose connections were 4 1/4 inches long connected together and 1 1/4 inches in diameter. So I purchased from reliableaftermarketparts.com 1/4 inch 18 NPT thread flat face hydraulic connector sets (male - female) for 60.00 each these are very close to the original size hydraulic connectors that come with the B2920

Wow - you're a busy person.....this is 3 replies in 3 different sections....

I don't think flat-faced hydraulic connectors have anything to do with your issue...

Your first post was a rear tire leaking hydraulic fluid....

First, give us more information to help figure out what your problem is... Pictures would help greatly.

Once that's done, get a workshop manual. It will help you fix it.

Trust me, there's a lot of smart guys here that can help....just give us something to work with....

I've said that 3 times now too.
