Hello,
Found this while scrounging in toolbox for something to plug up the hose going to IP from the filter after I broke the hose nipple.
I see there a few filter units in inventory, so i am thinking it happens often...
Anyway back to the seat mount. It is not broken all the way through but it definitely cracked.
And if i want the seat to glide, not weldable.
It appears to be the hole where the release lever would go.
Any one have to replace this before?
There is a new version of this piece in parts lookup, maybe stronger?

How did you break the hose off?

How did you break the hose off?
Brush cutting with bush hog, taller stuff gets laid over under bush hog, and the stands back up after I back past. One stem stood back up and I pulled forward.....snap. Had a new filter setup at garage, it was two hours away. So I found an old fishing worm in the tool box under the seat and stuffed it in the filter to keep from dumping the whole tank on the ground. Went to hardware store and picked up a brigs and stratton in line fuel filter and a spring clamp, to get it back on trailer.
After about a mile, I stopped to check straps, and found out that the fuel return line from the injector rail empties into the top of the filter housing, and was fast dripping. I grabbed the spring clamp and pinched the hose closed. I knew the thing breaking was a possibility, but did not think about stopping fuel flow if break occurred, now I will be adding a fuel shutoff to the line closer to the tank.
When I bought the spare fuel filter I also bought a front axle plug since it is no longer a screw on type. Have not had to replace that yet.
Over all I like the power of the B2920, but nowhere near as durable as my B7100.
