I have a B2782A and it works well except the blower will ride up on top of the snow leaving 1 or 2 inches behind every 40ft or so. If I put down pressure on the blower rather than the normal float it works better but occasionally still does it. I have adjusted the skid shoes so the cutting edge is ~3/32" off the ground with no change. I think my issue is the blower isn't positioned properly to the ground. I adapted a B2791 subframe and the B2782 blower to my B9200 and I think the blower angled too far back. Here is a picture:
Before is start modifying parts to get the position to where I think it should be I wanted to check and see if others have this issue with a standard set up.
If this is abnormal I'll need to know what the proper placement it, I'm assuming the back of the blower should be perpendicular to the ground. Pictures of a standard set up from the side would be great. Also if anyone know any adjustments that can be made, I took a look and all the bolt holes I found are holes and none are slots.
