My dad has a B2710HST that has extra fluid seeping into the oil. He noticed when he checked the dipstick and it was way overfilled. He says it isn't running poorly or smoking at all, but obviously something is amiss. Any ideas what might be the cause? Thank you.

Check the hydraulic oil level, its common for the seal on pump to leak. That is, if hyd pump is mounted to engine block. Anything other than motor oil is not good for the engine.

Hmmm...could be the freeze plug popped and is letting antifreeze into the oil. Check out Service Department Vic...pretty sure he has a youtube on it.
Dang. Good luck on this one.

Three options to why the tractor would gain oil level randomly, Hydraulic oil, Fuel, or water.
First I would recommend draining the oil, look for water, it will lay on the bottom of the drain pan when you drain it.
If no water is in oil, smell it, does it smell very heavy with diesel, if it does could be a fuel pump (rare) or injector pump (more common) problem.
Change filter and refill with oil, check and top off both the hydraulic fluid and coolant in the radiator.
Run the tractor for a few hours, recheck all levels.

Thank you all very much for your information and suggestions. I have passed them along to my dad. I'll re-post when he hopefully finds resolution. Thanks again.
