I have a b2710 and have an issue of losing power steering that occurs after the tractor has heated up, it appears to affect the tractor only if it is in 4WD. When the problem starts if you stop the tractor and back up the power steering works again momentarily.

If it's like the bx, the steering shaft has a seal in the middle of it that lets the pressure leak from one side to the other without it moving the shaft.
The B2710 power steering vibration is common when it heats up. There is reportedly a warranty fix or kit for it, I've researched it before. I've seen a homemade fix for it it too.
Seems like it has to do with the power steering fluid getting vapor locked when it heats up.
