Kubota gurus,
I am in the market for a new differential case for my B2710. Dealer can order it for $670, but I have found a lower cost option with a slightly different part number. The dealer shows 6C040-11178 as the part number, but the I found (like half price) is E-6C040-11178, and their webpage says it superseded the non-E number. Anyone seen this? Is it worth the risk? (They do offer free returns, but it would cost shipping, time, etc. and who knows how easy that would be)
Thoughts?

Also if anyone has a used one laying around let me know…

Thanks!

After some research, the “E” is for Eparts.com, from them: “This is an aftermarket part, the E is for our business Eparts. we make them to OEM specs, but they are aftermarket. This part is new. We have them made specifically for us.”
I have some trust issues here…
Anyone have experiences with Eparts?

Let's start from the beginning:
Your looking at the wrong part number for your tractor.
You need 6C040-11174 not 6C040-11178
I can't tell you if it would actually work or not.

Here is a lead on the right part number:
