I have a Kubota 2710 with a Ford 5' bush hog. When I raise the 3 point hitch all the way up, the bottom of the deck is only 1" off the ground. It scrapes going over bumps. I think my lift arms should be rotated higher or my lift rods are too long. Any thoughts or help?

Post a picture of the setup now, the issue could be all in the mower as it was probably meant for a taller or bigger tractor.

There is multiple settings on the lift arms and top link on your tractor.
Make sure the lift arms are in the rearward most holes and the the top link is in the lower most hole for maximum lift.

This is why pictures help.
In order for it to work for you properly, you need to cut the mount on the mower down, the three point it just too tall.

Because the mounts are all bolted at the bottom it would be super easy to cut them down and rebolt it back together.

Ideally you want the bottom connection points to be where when the three point arms on the tractor are level the mower is sitting on the ground.

Looks like he could just remove the lower parts at the front that form triangles and adjust length of the rear supports

Looks like his top link is closed up all the way. Maybe if he mounted the back of the top link in the rearmost hole on the mower mount and kept the link short...it would pick up the rear of the mower more.

My mounting frame on my mower is vertical. His is leaning way back becuz of the weird mounting hookup on the mower. I have never seen one like it but admit I am just a rookie...ha ha.
He does have the rearmost hole available, it looks like...think that hole would help pick it up more.:)
