Was messing around with the Kubota builder site and noticed differences when you select 1 vs 2 vs 3 remote valves. Can someone explain why the differences? I’m assuming the kits are for additional lever controls? What’s the banking kit?

FWIW I want to get a TNT for a box blade and want to be able to float the toplink and tilt. Since the 1st rear valve must be double acting I’m assuming I need to get 3 in order to have 2 float detents?

1 selected:
1 1ST POSITION DOUBLE ACTING VALVE KIT$795.00

2 selected, 1 float
1 TWO SPOOL BANKING KIT$50.00
1 1ST POSITION DOUBLE ACTING VALVE KIT$795.00
1 FLOAT DETENT VALVE$330.00

3 selected, 2 floats
1 TWO SPOOL BANKING KIT$50.00
1 3RD POSITION VALVE MOUNTING KIT$50.00
1 1ST POSITION DOUBLE ACTING VALVE KIT$795.00
2 FLOAT DETENT VALVE$660.00

Why do you want to float the tilt?
For finish grading-smoothing. An example is finial smoothing a driveway to road intersection. Assuming the intersection is not perfectly flat, as you go around the corner the implement will either dig in or lift up leaving either a divot or a pile of loose material.

The implement wants to follow the tractor, not the contour of the ground. By having the side link in float mode, the implement then follows the ground contour instead of how the tractor tips as it goes around the corner onto a different angle.

That's just one example. ;)

Yes, exactly. I live on a 1/2 mile dirt road with several driveways merging into it. Chances are at some point I will help out my neighbor to grade the road. He does it now with his tractor, but sometimes he's busy and can't get to it before a pothole swallows a small car or if his tractor breaks down, etc.

OK, just wasn't sure I was interpreting it correctly.
Do you know what the banking kit is?
Also assuming the 3RD POSITION VALVE MOUNTING KIT is maybe because the stock levers only hold two valves, so they need to widen it with that kit to fit 3?
