B2650 cab dome light operation

Seems like there are 3 positions on the dome light switch, but only on and off work.

The middle position, normally door activated in a vehicle, does not seem to work.
Is that normal?

I am pretty sure that is normal. I dont believe there is a door switch.

For what it is worth...
The Grand L's have a door switch that allows for the dome light to come on when the door is open. Perhaps you could use the same switch and wiring circuit to make your dome light functional.

You might want to consider converting your dome light bulb to LED's. The light output is 10X. They really light up the cabin when needed.

M's have the switch as well. I changed mine to LED's last year along with the running lights and the hazards.. Less draw on the alternator and will last as long as the tractor, hopefully.

I'm doing an LED change on all the light bulbs. Seems Kubota makes it difficult by having their own bulb numbers.

Example: dome bulb is marked 57K

I just bought a B3000HSDCC but no Dome light in the Cab.

I bought a couple of Magnetic LED lights to use, but a Factory setup would be nice.

Factory installed dome light not much different than yours.

It has on/off manual switch, not door activated like a vehicle. There is a middle position that COULD be wired to work off a self installed door switch(es).

I have a Grand L6060 cab and I don't have a door switch. I like the LED idea. I will be looking for the replacement bulb.
