B2620 stopped running while in operation

I was moving dirt with my 2620 when it stopped running, just like I switched it off. Tried to restart and got nothing. When I turn the key the lights come as normal but I don’t hear the solenoid click. Checked all the sensors, (seat,pto, forward/backward etc) put in a new battery. Checked/traced wires to ensure no loose connections.
Turn the key the lights com on, turn a bit further and the glow plug lights come on turn a bit further and nothing. I don’t hear the solenoid click when I turn the key on?

I'm guessing the failure of some sort of operator safety switch (seat, PTO, etc.) which is preventing engine start. Loss of electrical power wouldn't likely happen so abruptly, similarly for fuel starvation, so it's some sort of interruption in the electrical starting circuit. Could be a broken or disconnected wire somewhere, likely having to do with a safety switch. Also check to ensure you haven't inadvertently switched on the PTO or something which would stop the engine. Good luck!

Thanks so much for the response. I agree it is something to do with the electrical system. I checked the seat, pto, for/rev, sensor, do you know of any others? I don’t get the initial click from the solenoid when I turn the key, do you know where that solenoid is located?

Did you by chance get shift in your seat WHEN it cut off?

I had this happen on my BX - and if something like this happened - bypass each switch with a zip tie to find the problem.

Lack of a solenoid switch 'click' is an important clue (I think), must indicate that the power that creates the click isn't present. This could indicate a failed starter switch, or failed wiring having to do with the starter switch assembly. First check that power is getting to the switch, you may want to also 'load test' your battery.

Hopefully your B2620 isn't to different than a B2650. My B2650 manual is from 2014 Revision A.
