Hello everyone. I am a new member and this is my first post. I searched for the question I am about to ask and did not find any info. Here goes:

I just purchased a new 2018 B2901 tractor with the mmm RCK60-32 mowing deck. I also have the FL-434 FEL and a Landpride 60" box blade.

On page 26 of the mower operation manual it says:
"To use a 3 point hitch mounted attachment or the front loader when the mower is attached, follow the procedure below"

(See attached photo)

Why is this necessary?

My tractor did not have the clevis pins attached to the "rear stoppers" which are supposed to be removed and then attached to the "mid hanger bracket" when using the FEL or a implement on the 3 point hitch.

It locks the loader in the up position and allows you to use the three point without the mower deck dropping.
I think for the FEL it's just a safety so you don't accidentally drop the deck while working the loader.

I have the same tractor, FEL and mmm ,

I had to go back to dealer for the pins I didn't find them even though tech said he puts them in the tool box.

couple days ago I went down the highway for fuel those pins would have helped on bumps deck jumping around.

we have here in Michigan some of the deepest pot holes in the world.

Good luck trying to get those pins in place, on my b2601 you have to be Houdini to get in the right position to insert the pins. :D

Lol, I’m fully aware of those Michigan pot holes! I’ve got family in Grand Rapids, Cross Village, and Petoskey. I lived in Detroit from1965-1975.
