As I need to stand up to see what my snow blade is doing or not doing, I need to disable the seat as to not shut the tractor down every time I stand for a few seconds to look over the hood. Unplugging the wires to the center switch plunger does not work. Any thoughts?? Thanks much

Did you add a jumper when you unplugged the switch?

Depending on which type of seat switch you have will determine how you disable it.
I found this you tube video that shows how to disable the switch on one model Kubota, perhaps you have this model or your model uses this switch;

If not an internet search will give various other videos of seat switches and how they work

I would suggest a 'temporary' solution, perhaps involving some electrical tape or similar to 'fix' the safety switch mechanism in place for the occasional standing period.

I'll admit I haven't examined the switch assembly but if it involves a 'lever' that is held in place by a compressed seat (with an operator sitting on it) then perhaps 'taping' that lever into the 'seated' position could be considered as a temporary solution. I'm not one to recommend permanently bypassing or disabling any safety mechanisms, but I've stood up on my own B2601 and activated the safety mechanism so I understand the situation.

No not yet. Seat does not have the lever type switch and the service guy would not tell me how to disable the switch directly but insinuated that the jumper wire "might" work. I think he was telling me but not telling me. This is a brand new 2601 with a plunger type switch.

cut a 6" long piece of wire, crimp on a male blade on each end, unplug the plug that goes to the sensor under the seat, stick the male blades into the plug that you unplugged.

you may have to remove the bottom cover to the seat which is just a few screws. Cant recall if i had to do that on the B2601 as its seat is a little more bare than the LX.

Have the same machine. Add a jumper. Disabled from the day I bought it. I feel like such a rebel. LOL
