I have a 2yr old B2601 with 113hrs and smelled antifreeze while running it so I shut it off and seen this. I'm guessing it's a head gasket or cracked head. I called my local dealer and I'm just outside the full 2yr warranty but they want $160 an hour for a couple hours to diagnose it and see if it's covered under the 72 month powertrain warranty. Has anyone had this problem with their kubota.

I would think it would be covered, and if it's covered would that also cover the diagnosis?

I would also think it would have to be covered under the power train warranty and if not I'd be an unhappy camper looking for a 2nd opinion at another dealer.

Then seems fair. If it is covered (probably is) no risk to you. If it's not, at least you know what is wrong so you can have an argument.
