Would like to do this change and hear from someone who has done it. Will get the females from Summit Hydraulics. I need to know thread size, 1/4”NPT or ? Any other adaptors?
B2601/LA435 manifold conversion to individual flat face

I also saw someone on this forum I believe who converted to flat face as you suggest. No modifications were made to the male connectors on the tractor. Female FF connectors replaced the single lever unit. Don’t forget that the BX and LX machines have the same single lever unit as our B2601 so if you find a how to guide for one of those that would work too.

I did it on my BX2380. I used 4, 1/4 NPT female couplers from Summit and 4, 3/8 JIC to 1/4 NPT adapters. Didn't have to change anything on the lower male couplers.
Here is what I ordered to convert the B2601. From Summit-Hydraulics dot com: 1/4” NPT female flat face female quick connect sku number FF14F-04N.
From Discount Hydraulic Hose dot com: part number 2404-06-04, 3/8” JIC male x 1/4” NPT male.
From Discount Hydraulic Hose dot com: part number 2404-06-04, 3/8” JIC male x 1/4” NPT male.
To confirm, the hoses on the loader (that feed into the coupler with the lever) are female 3/8" JIC?
I'm thinking about ordering today. I'm going to get SAE fittings instead of NPT, and order everything through summit hydraulics.
I think you're ordering the wrong parts, but let us know how it works out.

Before I ordered I did double check. I've got female 3/8" JIC connections on my loader hoses. On the tractor side I've got 1/4" FF Male connections.
So it'll be 3/8" JIC Female (hose on loader) -> 3/8" JIC Male / 3/8" SAE Male -> 3/8" SAE female / 1/4" flat face female -> 1/4" flat face male (connector on tractor)
The bolded parts above are what I'm ordering from summit.

I think you'll be alright. I think I was getting my 3/8 and 1/4 and JIC and SAE all discombobulated.
I'll report back though when they arrive that it works. I am excited to get away from the single lever unit.
For closure on this thread I started: I received and installed the parts I ordered which are listed in post #6 of this thread. This was a very easy conversion, Stevie Wonder could have done it. And I could still unclip the four separate lines without leaving the seat! But I will probably have to leave the seat to clip them back on due to my advanced age. It’ll be ok since I’m just not that lazy. Sometimes companies go backwards during evolution. But evolution is a good thing. In 1985 I bought a new John Deere 650. You could not even mount the front loader with the belly mower on. I used impacts to change brackets when changing implements. Today, we can have both mounted simultaneously and use them. And NO tools needed.
