Hello All, I understand many have had problems getting tractors lately. I will recount my experience today. Called Golden Eagle Equipment in Irwin Pennsylvania (near Pittsburgh) and asked if they had a B2601 that they could outfit with a loader ,mower and turf tires. Yup was the answer. Took 55 minutes to drive there and 25 minutes between waiting for them to get off of the phone and entering the order. They will deliver it within a week. Price came in lower than the build it price on the Kubota website and that includes the 5% Pennsylvania tax. They have plenty more all crated up fresh from the factory if anyone is interested. I had been considering this since last fall to dispel any notion that this was an impulsive purchase. Thanks to everyone here for the advice bandied about since I first became familiar with this forum last August.

I thought the 7% tax was only in Pittsburgh or Allegany county, Iwrin is Westmorland County, unless they state went for 6 to 7,, that could be cause it seems I have been living under a rock

Congrats. Ordered my B2601 in March in Connecticut and they tell me mine will be available in May. You are lucky! Enjoy.

I started looking used tractors then went to a BX then found this forum and now I'm buying a B with a bunch of attachments and extra hydraulics. this is the most expensive form I have ever had the pleasure of being part of .

You are correct, sir... at least as far as Worshingtin County at 6% is concerned. Heinz Field and PNC Park can go suck the extra 1% out of somebody else.

No idea why the OP is paying 7% sales tax at that location.

6% PA tax is the most painful part of my L2501 quote - should be delivered in about a week.

I moved to Lehigh Valley from Delaware (no sales tax) and it kills me EVERYDAY:mad:

I feel similarly. I never bought a new tractor before. Between the 0% financing and the price of used units it made sense almost. I guess I am part of the pent up, post covid explosion in demand I am reading about.

This part about the used and 0%🔝 (Although, I have an old one and would have been happy buying used, I was ready to do it now, covid or not)

New is the way to go in WI. Used loader tractors go for stupid money. With the deal I got from my local dealer, it was cheaper than may used ones listed right now.
