Just wondering what others are able to run with this set up. I just had the 3rd function installed and purchased and artillian grapple. I have some attachments that are for my mini skid that was thinking of trying to adapt

my understanding is the flow on the 2601 is around 8 GPM tops. NHSleddog runs a post hole digger and cement mixer off his 3rd function, but these implements are matched for a 'low flow' system. Attachments made for a skid loader likely too heavy and require a higher flow rate.

I run both tractors and skid loaders, the tractor 3rd function is great for anything with a cylinder on but I really would not consider running any continuous flow skid attachments on my tractor. Typically the flow rate requirement is just too different and I don’t believe small compact tractors were designed for this purpose.

I see a number of compact tractor attachments that are sold with an optional pto hydraulic power pack to get the real flow rate required.

Mini skid attachments may be closer to tractor hydraulic flow rates, but if you have both machines why try to swop them. My experience is that hydraulic motors are sized to fit a flow rate, using 60% of flow rate results in very poor performance of the attachment.

the reason I was thinking of adapting is because have the mini skid for work and the tractor is 4.5 hours away at my cabin. It’s a pain in the ass to trailer things back and forth but could always throw an attachment in the truck

The pto driven hydraulic power pack sold by Landpride as HRS30 needs 52 pto HP to produce 30 gpm

Your B2601 has approx 19 pto HP

The simple math says your B2601 could produce approx 10.9 gpm utilizing its pto to drive a pump.

You might consider making your own gas engine driven power pack which you move around on the 3 pt hitch in order to power your mini skid attachments.
