On my MX, it is the center hole for the toplink attachment to tractor. Also the lift arms have an upper and lower hole. The lower hole on the lift arm provides more lift.

The ones nearer the tractor should give a greater range of travel but a reduced lifting capacity.

Found in the manual. Front hole gives higher lift.

Problem is I had the ROPS folded all the way down. Something in the back of my mind said, "No not do this!". The top of the QH was bumping the ROPS. Plenty of lift once I raised the ROPS to 90 degrees. In future, I'll try 45 degrees to see if that will clear my garage door.

Fortunately, the top link was cranked its shortest. Otherwise, it would have bent it. Remember now the video of Wrecked My Kubota where he bent his top link. Rather expensive. I did it on the JD in monkeying around with the QH.

DO NOT LOWER ROPS ALL THE WAY! Kubota needs a warning sticker on the top front of the ROPS saying this. Surprised it doesn't with warnings about almost everything else.

The picture below shows the ROPS all the way down. Don't do it! Other picture shows the 2 holes for the lift arms on the B2601. The JD 2025R had a huge # of holes in both the lift arms and the arms lifting the lift arms. The other 2 JDs I had didn't have any adjustment as I recall.

I bent my top link hitting the folded ROPS. Did not adust lift holes for arms or link but did adjust the lift lever [term?] farther forward to stop the top link just before it hits. Not sure my way was right. It does reduce lift height.

I bent my lower 3 point arm brackets by carrying a shackle on drawbar in the closest hole to tractor. loop swung around under arm when lowering arms didn't notice shackle loop was sideways.
