works perfectly in forward gears, has no power in reverse. machine has 900 hours on it and has hydrostatic transmission. wont even back up with a full load. changed filters and fluid, made no difference. Any ideas? checked any linkages and nothing is bent or missing

I don't have a schematic of your tractor but I say its internal if the linkage is telling the pump to reverse or It should flow in reverse its got to be internal with metal to metal clearance. Your unit doesn't have enough hours on it for that. Do you have a work shop manual?
