While i was away , my teenage son decided to change the oil , machine has only 37 hours of use . Somehow he put too much oil into it and ran it . Heavy black smoke blew out of the exhaust , then he called me in despair. '' Stop everything I said ''
When i got home I drained and chainged the oil properly and got it running , but still bolws out a light blue smoke and it seems to have lost its power in acceleration and functionality ! Need help on this . Thank you .

Let’s see what the possibilities are..... An owner of a B26 with only 37 hours on it shows up at the dealer hoping warranty will make everything good and the dealer notices all the paint scraped off the Glow Plugs where someone has been tinkering with a compression-test, a clear sign that this low-time machine has been messed-with by the owner who wants warranty-work.....

Hmmmnn......

depends on the dealer. I'd see it and I'd question it, but it's not something I'd say "nope no warranty" just because. Every place is different.

with that said read your warranty statement. You have 10 business days from the time of failure to get it to an authorized dealer. Or is it 7? I forget. And unauthorized repairs will not be covered either. But insurance....that is a different animal altogether.

If it runs ok with good power, it's possible that it's just got a little residual left in the exhaust system and the smoke you're seeing is burning off.
