Hi there, I need just a few inches more to get my new B26 in the garage and out of the snow. May also have to deflate the tires a bit....or a lot.

If I can get the orange cap off I think it would work. Main problem that I can see is that power wires go up the inside of the rear support steel ROPS steel supports.

There may be connectors down low so the wire would have to be fished up and down each time this was taken off/put on.

Wonder if anyone else has done this and could offer suggestions, tips before I jump in regret it later.

Many thanks. Glen

I would remove the canopy and see exactly how the wiring is installed. If necessary, I would modify the wiring where it exits the ROPs at the canopy and install an external quick disconnect.

On that model removing the canopy roof is not going to gain you a lot of space, there is a steel frame across the entire roof that extends from the FOPS and the ROPS.

Thanks for the replies.

I think that heavy steel frame for the cap will come off as well as the forward ROPS struts leaving just the aft end ROPS.

It's a pain to have to do each year or leave it off which sacifices some safety as well as lites for possible evening projects.

Still thinking

Welcome to the forum from Alabama, USA. Is it the door frame that is causing the problem to get it inside? Maybe it would be easier to look at that.

I would agree, raising the header and door frame would be the best choice all around. ;)

Maybe some photos of your dilemma and amongst us, a possible solution might get suggested.
