Hi All (or Y'all for my American cousins),

I wanted to see if anyone has had any success fitting a b2410 in a Nugent General Purpose G2512-2 trailer?

Thanks

Never heard of a Nugent so looked it up.

Didn’t see a weight rating anywhere but hard to imagine a tandem axle of any sort couldn’t handle your B from a weight perspective. Past that, it’s measure the tractor and see if it fits in the 8’2” x 4’2”.

Biggest issue I see is that swell gate at the back means you can’t have anything hanging off the back of the trailer at all, so that 8’2” is tractor and any implement on the back. If you have a loader you may be able to hang part of it over the front if local laws and your tow vehicle allow.

So:
  • No I haven’t put that tractor on that trailer.
  • It might fit if it’s just the tractor. Measuring your specific tractor is the best way to answer that question.
  • If it’s tractor + loader and/or + rear implement, that 8’2” length is going to get real short real quick. Suspect you’ll find it too short for much more than the tractor itself if it’s even long enough for that.

You would have to step the wheels in quite narrow to get it to fit width-wise. It would be tight length-wise, too. When I moved my 2410 I used a 6x12 trailer and it just fit, but of course that was with a box blade on the back.

Basic tractor weight is about 1400lbs but the implements and accessory weights add up quickly. With the front mount blower and box blade it's within a hair of a ton from what I saw on the highway scales (I think I read them correctly...).

It has a 2000kg (4400lb) rating so weight isn't the issue. The dimensions are very tight but just about work! Plus it gives me a general-purpose trailer, on two axles which is very maneuverable. Overall, quite happy with it!
