b2400HST front axle replacement

Hi All, New here. Trying to deal with a a b2400HST dual speed turning front axle that broke. The pivot broke off and is stuck in the gear box. Does it just pull out or do I need to get to the pin some how? Any help is appreciated. Dj

You need to unbolt the gear case to remove the broken parts.

if I remove the two bolts that attach the gear box to the frame, will it slide off the drive shaft or do i need to take the gear box apart?

You should be able to drop the bracket and get the unit off.
