Hello, new to this board and my first post,i recently bought this B2400 with low compression and will be removing engine soon to overhaul. This is first Kubota I have owned and have been looking for info on engine removal etc and really haven't come up with much. biggest thing I'm looking for is if this tractor frame need to be spit in half and/or unbolting flywheel. any other pointers would also be appreciated. Thanks Y'all Steve :)

I'll send you a PM to download the WSM, it gives all the steps to work on it.

You will still need to get the WSM for the engine, If you want all the specs and details on rebuilding it.

Remove loader if it has one.

Remove the dash cluster.
remove the plastic parts that surround the steering.
Remove hood and side skirts.
remove battery and radiator.
remove front axle assembly.
remove all sorts of lines, hoses, fuel tank, and tubes.
remove engine from frame.

It's not too bad, but if you've never done one, they can make you invent new words.

Thanks!!! I am sure everything I need is in here!!! already have pretty much everything stripped on engine, I am looking for any tricks of the trade, biggest thing is if I'm taking ft end off before engine or if I can take bolts out of frame and get it out. Thanks again couldn't find WSM on web without buying!\ I am a knuckle buster of nearly 40 years and I am currently A Honda car Tech and find sometimes that the translation from Japanese to English leaves something to be desired, hope this is not true with Kubota <*(((()))>< Thanks again!!!

thanks!!! I already have almost everything off you said minus ft end, it hasn't been bad yet. I was hoping id be able to take the bolts out of the frame and get it out somehow but I guess not, any other tricks or pointers would be appreciated. years ago I took one of these engines out of a Kubota mower with a forward deck and if I remember correctly that's about all I did after stripping engine, Thanks again !!!
