Hi Guys,
My b2400 was running the other day and then died.
I flushed the fuel out and then hooked it up to a battery charger and heated the block with the block heater.

It ran the next day and was able to idle for 20 minutes. Tried to use it and then it died. I was not able to restart the tractor.

So today I cracked open the fuel line and there is no fuel coming out of the pump.
Fuel does come out of the fuel filter.

What can I look at?

Thanks

Work your way back from the fuel pump to the tank: blocked lines, clogged fuel filter, crud in the fuel tank itself are obvious possibilities. Fresh fuel or stuff that has been around for some time? Treated with fuel condtioner or no? If all that checks out, maybe a fuel pump issue?

don't know your tractor but...
Can you hear the fuel pump go tik-tik-tik ?
If not, check the fuel pump fuse in the fuse block.
you used block heater,so how cold it it?
you may have 'gelled' fuel after the pump ??

I would pull the line OFF the fuel pump - and see IF it will flow freely - if not, you need to look via the line to the tank. IF it seems to pour freely - allow it do so in a clear glass container, you might see stuff flow into that container.

As Jay mentioned - does it make a ticking noise with the key in the run position?

When was the last time you removed and replaced the fuel filter?

Remove the line (red) should have free flow.
If not plugged tank
Remove the line (blue) should have free flow.
If not then you have plugged filter or inputs or outputs connections on filter housing.
Some have a screen on the input line connection.
Remove the small line (green) on the side of the tee off of the side of the injection pump.
Crank or start tractor and at idle should have pulses of fuel coming out.
If you don't you you have a bad lift pump.

A very basic/simple fuel troubleshooting description.
Good for all of us to see/know.
Thanks!

Thanks for all the suggestions. I checked the solenoid and it worked.
The tractor fired up and is working great.
I bet it was frozen.
Thanks!!
