Hey there, I'm new to the forun with a 90 something b2400HSD. I've been fixing all the leaks and squeaks and its now able to contain all the fluids. My next plan was to get a loader for it, I have my eyes on a used Koyker 150 loader which is discontinued now but its similar in size to the 120. I was looking for pictures of the subframe of a b2400 or similar model so I can make a strong subframe for it. I was looking for pictures from down below to show the pieces that join the two halfs of the main frame together. I'd also like to know the material thickness as well. I appreciate the help.

Welcome.

I can't be of much help as I don't have that machine, but if I was guessing (and I am) I would start at 3/8" thick material.

My 2501 has the subframe for the BH-77 and its quite "beefy".

I'm not near it, so I can't measure it, but I'm guessing that it's around 7/16" thick of so.

That would also make an outstanding excuse to buy a CNC plasma cutter. (y)

I called Koyker and they sell a loader to tractor frame mount kit. You will have to make your own frame mount to bolt to the tractor frame but the loader shoes and pipe are welded together ready to be welded to the frame mounts you make. Will get a call tommorow from sales guy for ths price.

Finding a factory mount to fit your tractor will next to impossible, and if it is found/fabricated cost will likely be prohibitive.

If you have some equipment and fabricating skills you can make the mount to get the loader on your tractor. I bought a Massey 1246 loader and built the mounting brackets to get it on a Kubota L305.

With an off brand loader the critical thing is to be sure the width of the loader fits your tractor. I made sketches of what the loader needed and then the holes in the belly of the tractor to match them up. When you're done make sure you have some bars going from the bottom of the loader towers back to the rear axle. These are critical. They keep the loader from pushing back on all you have fabbed up and busting the housing holding the mounting bolts.

All the bolt threads are metric. I remember picking up the bolts at Fastenal and the total was over $100 and that was nine years ago.

Here's some pictures of the process.
