Hi all,

20 hours on this machine so far and loving it. Great tractor.

I'm starting to shop for a used mower. I want a rear mower, no belly. I know a 60" would be the good choice for my tractor but I found a good deal on a used del morino 72" and was wondering if that would be a good choice.

I have read a lot on this and search many forums. They recommend a 60" for a B2320. But since I have the gear version of it, and have 1 more hp at the pto, making it 18, I was wondering if a 72" mower would be appropriate for my tractor.

If ever I was in tall grass with the 72" and the engine bogged down, could I just reduce my cutting path to let's say 60"? Would that work?

I don't want to buy a new one and so far there is no 60". On the other hand, I don't want to buy a 72" and realise later that I shouldn't have. So, would a 72" be fine or not??

Here are the specs of the mower I'm looking at. The manufacturer recommends 15 to 70 hp tractor for all his model. Weird...

Thanks.

The checking I did on line shows mowers at 48" for this machine. At 18 HP on the pto, I'd really question that for to a 72" mower. My experience with 60 inch on similar HP machines would agree with that as tops.

Welcome to OTT Slater. At 18hp, a 60" mower is pushing it, much less a 72".
