b2320 shutting off when I get off

Hi, I have a 2015 b2320 and its happened a couple times where the tractor shuts off when I get off. Tractor is completely stopped before I get off. When it shuts off I turn the key to off and try to start up again but tractor doesn't even turn lights come on but it doesn't turn over. I do this 3 to 4 times then it starts no problem. It doesn't always happen buts it's happened twice in a month.

Most likely the PTO safety switch is the problem.

Had the same problem on my b3200 Hst. In my case it was the forward/ reverse pedal sticking in a place that must have a safety switch where if it is not so to speak in the exact middle (no forward no reverse) it will not start.
Solved mine by lubing up the linkage for the pedal under tractor and now on my maint list when greasing the tractor and since I have been doing this I have not had the problem again.

I hit the PTO lever all the time when getting off.

Did it an hour ago, and tractor shut off.....

I was on my brother in laws 2920 a while back, got off and then would not turn over.....just like everyone has said, a safety switch is the problem, and PTO sounds like the first one to look at.

Happens with my 2620 all the time. Usually means in my case that the HST pedal isn't centered correctly. The next time it happens and won't start listen for the interlock solenoid to click when you move the HST pedal.

I might have a BX but it happens to me. I always set parking brake before stepping off tractor.

My L3800 HST did this a bunch after I got it. Drove me crazy. It also quit when I leaned right to watch tire clearance. Then, after shutdown, all I would get is starter "clatter" instead of a clean start.

Bent bracket on seat switch to improve contact. Had dealer re-adjust pedal center "zone" at next service. Mo-Bettuh. No problemmos since.

Every time I lube the FEL, I hit all the nipples on the bottom as well and that includes the HST pedal.

On my B2320 it usually means I've snagged the lever that engages the pto on my dismount. My heart sinks every time it happens. The first time I tried cranking it from standing beside it several times to no avail. I climbed back on & looked over all the levers & there it sat barely moved out of the center position.

I too have the same situation with my 2011 B2620 HST, new to me last summer with just under 500 hours. I am confident that the "go pedal" is not finding neutral and then when I go to restart....nothing happens. If I put the key in the on position and rock the pedal back & forth a few times gently, I will hear a the click (solenoid?) finding neutral and then she starts fine. I find it to be more sensitive in cold weather ie harder to find neutral. One thing I think helps is when I set the brake it seems to help the "go pedal" find neutral. Another thing I do is to lift my bum off the seat before I fully stand to get off the tractor and see if the engine cuts out or not. If it does stop, I sit back down quickly and it will continue to run but I now know that I need to find neutral. Sometimes I just hit the brake pedal and lift my bum again and if it continues to run, neutral! I am thinking that in the cold of winter, the greased area stiffens up and it has a harder time finding neutral on its own, you have to gently rock the pedal back and forth a little and then lift your bum. Hope this helps and good luck with it.

I have a MX 5200. It happens about once or twice a week, So far, all I do is bounce on the seat and it usually always starts, if not I bounce a little more. I have never fiddled with the HST pedal, doesn't mean I'm not going out and cleaning and greasing.
