I have a 1979 kubota b7100 with a b219 loader and kuw200/b670 backhoe. The seat swivels so you can use either. I am looking for a rops part number that will fit this set up. I know they exist because I have seen pictures of them. If anyone has an answer would be much appreciated.

Just visit your local Kubota dealer as they can get it at a greatly discounted price on the ROPS, and they can tell you which one will fit. ;)

Let me clarify, You can not buy a ROPS via Kubota with any P/N, they don't even list the part #'s.
To further clarify even if you had a P/N you can't buy it by calling up a dealer and say I want P/N xxxxx-xxxxx they just won't sell it to you.
You have to provide them with a serial #.

Now are you trying to get the ROPS for a B7001 or a B7100.

Trying to find a rops for a b7100. I need one like what lil foot has on his b7100. There are two different rops models that fit a b7100. One that attaches to the pto shield, the rops bars come up and then go out, this would not allow me to use my backhoe. The other attaches to the rear axle housing on both sides then goes out. I have a backhoe on mine and need the rops that attaches to the rear axle housing so my seat pivot from loader to backhoe.

I submitted my form to kubota with serial number and they told me my tractor was elligable for a rops and lists the part number next to it along with the the cost $440 including shipping and installation. But my dealer here in Washington said if it didn't fit would still be liable for shipping. Just don't want to run into that issue and be stuck with a rops I can not use on my tractor and out $$.

Wait. I'm confused. This sounds like the one I have, and it allows the use of the spinning seat & backhoe operation.

Thanks Ryan,
One can learn something everyday.
I was not aware of the differences.
Send me a PM of the P/N that they gave you and I'll see if I can find any more information on it.
If anyone else has a P/N of the ROPS they have please post it.

Type 1 is ROPS is attached to the top of the PTO shield.

Type 2 is ROPS is attached to the sides of the PTO shield.

Type #3 Mostly seen on foreign market tractors, have not found the exact way they mount.

Interesting, the 3rd type is the one Adam's tractor in Spokane supplied to me and I installed it myself. The price was right what was mentioned. It was bolted around the shroud area of the PTO and it required some significant elbow grease to work it. My ROPS came in two pieces that was joined at the top.

Any chance you know the P/N or the M/N ?
And do you have any pics of it after you mounted it?
I can't remember, do you also have the BH?

The only thing I have is this paper which apparently shows numbers for the individual pieces of the kit, but not a part number for the whole kit.
I can e-mail the full size scans if needed.

I have the same thing on my B7100. Got it through the program from the local dealer ("stealer" was never more appropriate). I just gave them the model and SN, and they got the ROPs in about 2 weeks later. Remove the tin PTO shroud and bolt on the BEEFY PTO shroud with ROPS mounted, included seat belts, and though I don't have the backhoe on the little guy, it looks like there would be no problem using a spinning or flopping seat to man a backhoe.

Just found my paperwork on it. Looks like they refer to it as a KU B1060.

It looks like bad dog has type 1 rops B1060. Now just need to get numbers for the other two styles.
