The Cessna valve (no longer available or supported) that was used on B219s.
Arrow shows cap containing the detent balls, springs, & etc.
Most float detents no longer work- they get water in there and get rusty.
If you take it apart, be prepared to have things go flying all about.
Mine was rusted beyond repair, I've been meaning to make new parts for it, but it just hasn't been a high priority. I removed what was left of all the rusty parts so it wouldn't stick in the float position.
If I need float, I just hold the stick forward.
