B2150 HST Diesel question

Purchased this tractor used the other day. It has a V1200-5B engine runs rough white smoke, did compression check these are cylinder readings from front to back. 240,345,320,& 320.. 3256 hours on the meter. Suggestions for repair.

As you can see - you are below the min specs on compression:

#1 cyl is real low - white smoke can be "bad" injectors, (too much fuel) or fuel not being burned completely. Or you could have "water" entering the combustion chamber too. (Head gasket around water jacket)

You are most likely looking at a rebuild!:(

Hope you got it cheap. You are about to spend some serious bucks on it.

Interestingly, an oil analysis would have shown the issue either as oil dillution from fuel, coolant in the oil or excessive metal. 25 bucks could have saved you a bundle.
