Hello everybody,
First wanted to thank you guys for all of the knowledge shared on this site. I am a long time tractor lover of all kinds. Ran into something I never have before. I've got a 96 b2100 HST I bought a few years ago to do my yard work with. Not sure the previous owner took as good of care of the internals as he did the outside. I changed the hydraulic fluid and filter the other day, and now the 3pt lifts fine, but at stopped height, with any weight on it, it hops up and down shaking the whole tractor. I thought it might be air, so I mowed with it and got it warm thinkin is bleed it out, but it hasn't. I retraced, out new orings in the supply line ( strainer) to the punp and sprayed all fittings down to check for leakage. If I knew how to upload video I'd show you what I mean. Thanks for reading and I'd appreciate any feedback. It was not doin this before I changed the fluid.
