I have a B1750 with power steering, with around 1300 hours, I have excessive play in the steering wheel, I can turn the steering wheel 1/4 turn before front tires move.

Is there a way to adjust this out? Or is something worn out?

You need to do some investigation. Get someone to move the steering wheel back and forth while you see where the movement stops. Could be tie rod ends, drag link ends, knuckle arm bushing or something else.

Could this be the steering cylinder going bad? I just had to replace mine this spring on my bx2200 and it's super tight now. Last fall I could be mowing or spraying and go to turn and the thing wouldn't respond for a full turn. I ended up ordering a new cylinder and replaced it myself. Wish I had done it sooner.

I have a kind of clicking noise and it seems to be getting a little louder just driving across the lawn. Bx1860 with 1000 hrs. Have tightened front axle pivot but was wondering if could be the steering box. Steering is tight just hearing the noise and not sure where to look. Any suggestions?

Rob's B1750 doesn't have hydrostatic steering like you guys BX's. It has a drag link and knuckle arm (bellcrank) like some manual steering setups. In fact, except for the steering controller, the parts are the same as the manual steering B1750.

Rob, your problem could be in the controller but let's hope it's something else 'cause I suspect that's an expensive piece.
