Hello all,
Found a used Sims Cab for my B1700. It originally came with vinyl side curtains.
Can anyone provide a picture of the inside, right side lower curtain set-up of their cab?
Previous owner supplied new plexi to replace the curtains, but my brake pedal projects past the edge of the floor and would hit the plexi. It must have originally contacted the curtains too.
I'm wondering if anyone has a clever solution or suggestion for this?
Hope you all stay healthy and have a happy holiday season.
Cheers,
Doghouse

Your tractor has two brake pedals to allow use of a single brake to assist in turns.

If you are not in the habit of doing this you could secure the left and right brake pedals together so they act as one brake. Then cut off the protruding right brake pedal.

You are supposed to have the two pedals locked together for any faster travel as to use one brake under these circumstances risks a roll over

My friend with a B7100 HST and who lives on level ground, took his brake pedals off completely claiming with the HST he never needed them.

H, Thanks for that. I do have mine locked together most of the time. We don't have 50' of level property in any direction. Quite the contrary; I've had several "whoa Nelly" moments with 1 1/2 wheels off the ground, a load in the bucket, and newly discovered soft ground on our riverbank. BOTH brakes came in handy. I could possible trim off the offending bit of right brake pedal, but still hope for a "work around" for the cab.
