B1700 3pt won’t go up

My brother has a b1700hst which I was using to push snow for him for about 10mins. Then the blade would not lift up anymore. So I started just dragging it around to finish and it would all of a sudden go up. Then I would put it back down to push and when I would try to lift it it would not go up. Any ideas? Thanks

Oil level?
Suction hose clamps, check them to ensure not sucking air?
Water contamination freezing in valve?

Oil is all good. I will check clamps. Hopefully there is no water in valve.
