B in the snow

Got dumped on again yesterday. This was early in the afternoon. I have to go out and clean up again what fell after this. The little B2620 did awesome.
Had some deep spots where it drifted and it can take the full 51" width and 24" deep like it was going through nothing.

Dom.....I think they are the Kubota work lights? When I priced the tractor out before I bought it, my dealer got all the prices for them out of his Kubota book. I was going to switch to LED's......but no need to as they are very bright. If I ever bust them off maybe I will go LED.
I already cracked one......had the ROPS down to get in my shed and lifted the blower too much and whacked it with the chute, lol.

Very good question. I would also like to know... How is your neck after a marathon session of blowing snow.? Have you rigger the machine with a couple good size mirrors to assist in your comfort?

No problem. And I have spinal problems from 27 years of trucking and a childhood of motocross racing. But because of those problems I can turn and look behind me to the right no problem (which is good because my control valve for my chute rotation is on the right side), but when I try and reverse to my left I find it hard to keep the reverse hydro pedal pushed all the way down.
I have roughly a 300 foot driveway and a turnaround by the house where I can turn the tractor trailer. It really doesn't bother me, I just sit turned in the seat instead of cranking my neck. A front blower would be nice, but I will never give up my rear blower because I constantly use the loader.
I use the loader to scrape hard pack when I am blowing, carry firewood in while I have the tractor out, plus I have the loader on to get myself unstuck if it were to ever happen while blowing.
I am going to install mirrors....but that is not a factor of having to look back, it is so I can keep my face out of the blowing snow when the wind isn't cooperating.

I just love my front mount blower I would never do the rear mount! These blowers spin at 2000 rpms on the front and 960 on the rear, there is a world of difference in there capacity on the front!

Yes the front blowers are nice. But I can't be without my loader, lol. I carry the garbage out when I go do the driveway and bring firewood back in. Plus it's nice for knocking the high spots down.

I started looking at cabs, but then I just realized I would have to remount my rear remote valve and joystick somewhere as it is mounted to my ROPS bar. It wouldn't work with a rear panel.

Won't be doing any tractor work today....minus 40*F here today.

Wolfman & skeets that is an awesome setup !!! I like the QD feature but I know I would grumble everytime I need to remove it to use the bucket as ItBmine does for trash or firewood.

I guess a good compromise would be this front mount blower and a 3PH hitch rear mounted box to tote the trash and firewood with. If rear weight were an issue have two 3PH boxes. One with ballast the other for item transport. I would much rather be swapping out rear boxes than removing the blower to tote trash in the bucket

Somewhat resembles the Sim's Cab I have on my B7100, but my cab is about 30 years old with a soft side door.
