how would a guy find out what model year it is?
also if i wanted to put on a mid deck mower would it have to be a kubota deck?

Tractordata.com says they were only made in 83-84.

Check the rear wheels and see if there is a "year of manufacture" stamped into the wheel --- quickest way that I know of --------
