Almost have the block completely torn down while I wait on the parts from evil bay. I've removed the hydraulic pump, and the injection pump. I'm having an issue where I can't get the fuel cam out of the block. Any tips for that? I have removed the snap ring on the pump side of the cam.

Yes, everything is disconnected on the front and I would think it should just pull out. Didn't know if I was missing a snap ring.

Did you remove the plate with 2 bolts in it behind the governor holding the bearing on the front of the fuel cam?

I sure did, it would move about a 3/16 inch either way then but wouldn't fully come out. I decided to just leave it and cover the holes good for when it goes to the machine shop.

You need to have the fuel cam out to get the block cleaned properly.
Give us a picture of what you have and maybe I'll see something that's tripping you up.
