There is a fairly large rubber plug on the side of the bell housing.

Ok... I looked and located the rubber plug. That sucker is behind the hydraluic lines from the block to the control valve. Also... to make matters worse the square post that the control valve is mounted on is dead square in front of the rubber plug.

What I am trying to say... you can't get to the plug much less the grease fitting on the throw out bearing.

Any ideas...

I'm sure glad you asked this question, I was wondering if it ( throwout bearing ) was grease able, and had not found any info in my FSM ( I didn't look REAL hard, but I did look at the pretty pictures )

I'll go out and check mine out today and see what I come up with, as I am getting a squeal from time to time when I disengage the clutch.

My plan is... wait for a rainy day... pull the great orange beast in the shop and drop the deck. Then I will pull the beast up on ramps front and rear. This will give me a birds eye view of the issue at hand. There has to be a way...

I will be sitting in a low beach chair, with a headband LED light freeing my hands free to get at the cooler...:D
