Pups that don’t piss (or puke) in the truck are keepers…sometimes they can’t help it though when they are little. When we have a little one we use chucks just in case, especially when traveling. Sure make things a lot easier.

At 3.5 months, Geddy has been housebroken for some time now.

Just curious for new experiences like this.

Chucks are the drop cloths (disposable) maternity wards use for babies…it’s like a diaper but a small mat to capture small messes. They come in several different sizes (they should be near diapers in a big box store). Single use and then chuck them. We line their crate with them or cover the back seat until big enough to hold it…traveling on interstate with a pup, it’s hard to get stopped and off the road (multi hour/state travel) if little pup decides need to go.

Wow. They get big so fast. I always tell everyone with a puppy to enjoy every minute because they soon grow out of that stage. Enjoy!

He’s a pip….

He just started jumping on us when greeting us. Pure exuberance. He loves everyone.

Need to get that controlled.

My 6’-5” son bent down to pet him when he got here other day. Geddy sprung up and popped him in the nose with his head….

I'm sound a sleep around 2AM this morning and the next thing I know I'm being attacked and pinned to the bed.

When I finally get fully awake, I realize that Max (our 124 lbs Rottweiler) had decided he wanted the spot I was laying on and had jumped on top and me and just collapsed down. Between me screaming and thrashing around thinking I had been had, the whole house was awake and he was just laying there looking at me like I needed to be quite.

Needless to say I have been up for few hours now.

Really part of my Winter Prep Already?!?! thread, but this is definitely dog related.

Geddy is helping his Dad replace the pellet stove igniter. A little finicky job….a face full of boxer puppy was “helpful”….

Back when our shepherd was a year or two old we used to dog sit her twin brother.

One would suck up tight to one side of you, the other would tuck up tight on the other side. Backs tight to you.

This would pin you tight to the bed by the blankets 160lbs between the two dogs pressing on your kidneys and bladder they did this to me one night. I woke up, pinned and having to pee like you wouldn't believe.

I did like you. I woke the whole house up trying to get free, cussing, swearing, trying to get those heathens to move. Didn't help that my wife had to get her digs in asking "what's it worth to you to get free???" And laughing her butt off

The next week I was out of town. Wife was home by herself with the two heathens. They wrapped her up tight one night And she didn't have any help getting free

My Weimaraners were just happy to have a spot on the bed, and one of them would get off the bed after about 15 minutes and climb into a chair that he claimed as his.
