Auxilary Front remote hydraulic cannot connect quick coupler

I own an Kubota L45. It is equipped with auxiliary front hydraulics for a 4 way bucket and other attachments. I removed the front bucket and while attempting to re attach I cannot get the hydraulic quick coupler to engage/connect. I thought we relieved the hydraulic pressure prior to removal but may not have relieved pressure from 4 - way bucket. Any help on how to relieve the pressure to reconnect the lines?

Take the male end (the end with the ball) and wrap a rag around it then go find a good strong piece of wood or steel to press it against --- that should relieve the build up.
