Very windy here yesterday - took almost all the leaves down from the large hickories but the oaks are hanging on.
Used to really like riding (mc) up to Vermont this time of year in the 70-80's. Then traffic got too busy to enjoy.

Although it was a shame to cut an oak tree down recently, the one thing I won't miss is the late-falling leaves. Long after the rest of the leaves were cleaned up / mulched / whatever - along came the oak leaves.

Riding around in Nevada's Santa Rosa Mountains a couple days ago...traces of snow on the higher slopes and a neat granite boulder in the foreground.

Morning "Orange Family". Feeling somewhat rundown today. Anyways, a quick shot amongst golden leaves. Have a fine day!

Didn't feel the need to start a new thread. If an issue will make changes. Anyways, thought would share a local photo, as you can see, no stranger to the "Orange Life". Thats a pair of our earliest BXs sittin there. Sadly, neither no go without their horsepower hitched fur the day. Most of the time were 2cyl too. I'm not sure if Pops ever installed wheel spacers. Often did carry the backhoe with us called a "spade" shovel. The 4-legged mower decks again often hitched at the front as well doing 3cyl duties with only 2cylinders, see we knew how to hotrod. 1-Horsepower, 2-mower decks, 3- manure spreader duties, all in a day.

View to the SW from one of observation towers last week…leaves are half gone and not much color this year.

I have a lot of cottonwood trees and they all are in various stages of fall. Some have lost leaves completely, some are golden, and one large tree by the house is still green. The locust trees have lost their leaves, and the fruit orchard is still changing colors. It’s been a warm fall this year.
