I wash when dirty and use a pressure washer. Once a year I make sure to pressure wash the engine and use SuperClean to remove any built up dirt. Makes it easy to identify any leaks. After every use, I blow out the entire unit with my air compressor using an extended wand to get down in around the radiator and other tight spaces. Keeps the dirt and dust build up to a minimum and again if you have issues you aren’t spending 15 min cleaning to get to the problem. As far as paint or wax, they are stored under cover and their patena tells a story. Exposed metal or welds to fix things are primed and painted.
