Auger stand

Does anyone have a stand for their auger and if so, how do you like it? Is it worth the money?

I saw this you tube video... and copied it using 4” square tubing and casters from HF.... but I refused to paint it green.

Total cost was about $75...and VERY worth it!

Mine cost about $5.00. Welded an lift eye to the upper tube and a length if chain from the shop and a screw eye in a tree branch and mine hangs fro a tree branch. Has for years. Just back the tractor up to it, hook it up and off I go. Mine is painted brown so it matches the tree trunk bark.

I built a four foot tall sawhorse out of 2x4’s and a pair of cheap sawhorse brackets. It was initially supposed to be a temporary solution but has proven to be adequate and effective.

I was going to build one but found out that my rolling shop crane works just as well. Takes up a little more space than necessary but at least I didn't have to add another item in the garage.

Considering it's 20 years old and outside all the time, it probably does but it don't impact what it does at all so I don't really care. Makes a nice bird perch too.

I welded chain hook to the top of mine and hang it from a post in my shed.
