Hey guys. I have struggled with attaching and unhooking my auger since I bought it. I have been in search of a better way of doing this as well as a safe method of storing the auger. Digging a hole or hanging it from a tree just wasn't a usable option for me. After searching the internet over the past several days for ideas, I finally decided on building a homemade auger stand. I bought two 4x4x8 pressure treated posts and one 4x4x6 post. Two top braces and two 80 lb bags of concrete. Total cost was less than $30 at Lowes. This was a very easy built. Total time of construction was less than 30 minutes. That included using my auger to dig the two holes. I let the concrete setup over night.

I have attached pictures so you can see the end result. Any questions, feel free to message me. This stand is solid and makes hooking up and unhooking a snap.
