I bought a b7200 with and ARPS 80 backhoe. I replaced some of the hoses that were leaking and am ready to change the filter and fluid. Does anybody know the filter part# and the recommended oil for this unit??

I can't speak for the ARPS 80 backhoe, but will share what my ARPS 70 unit spec calls for on my B7100. Maybe that is a starting point for you.

The original owners manual lists oil as SAE 10W40, with API "SD" classification for Northern climates, and SAE 40W with API "SD" classification in Southern climates. Change oil every 200 hours or more often if necessary.

The original filter on the ARPS 70 (that came with it new) was a Gresen K-22001 hydraulic filter. The conversion numbers I have for the filter are: NAPA- 1551; FRAM P1653A; WIX 51259.

Here is a link for Filter conversions:

I hope this helps... WELCOME to OTT !!!

Arn, Can you make out any of the numbers on your old hydraulic oil filter?

Arn,

Here is a link for the ARPS 80 Manual. The MFG for the backhoe is Amerequip Corp.

It looks like the first thing you need to do is determine if your backhoe is a self contained system or is using the Kubota hydraulic system for power. The above manual is 36 pages. Pages 9 & 10 have the info you are looking for.

If it is a self contained system then my previous post does apply for the type of oil you need to use. If it is using the Kubota hydraulics, then you need to follow the Kubota manual for the correct hydraulic fluid.
