I am considering an Armstrong Disc Harrow to pull behind my soon to receive MX 6000. Anyone have experience with this disc? Good, bad, or indifferent? Thanks.

New or used? Buy the heaviest one you can afford. Look at the adjustments. Can you adjust the disc without tools?

I have a 5 foot Armstrong. It gets used a lot. I have broken a couple of blades but that is the only problem I've had. I have about 3 acres that I cleared for food plots. River bottom buckshot, just sheared the trees off at ground level. Not the easiest on a disc, but they will eventually rot out. Scrapers are a must. Mine came without them, but I built a set out of my scrap pile. It cuts really good and leaves the ground fairly smooth. I also farm about 5 acres of vegetables and break garden spots for neighbors. If I had to buy another disc today, it would be Armstrong Ag!

I have the HD2020 which I believe is the one you are looking at. I have used it a couple of times behind my MX6000 and it works very well. It seems to be well built.
